On May 10, 2004 at 7:30 PM, our friend Lance Williams, who was less than 7 months away from graduation from college and the Army ROTC program, was in a horrible accident when an SUV pulled out in front of him while Lance was on his motorcycle. Lance suffered an injury to his 5th cervical in his neck and a dislocated shoulder. He had surgery the following day to remove a bone from his hip to be placed in his neck for stabilization.
Lance has kept his focus on God the entire time since his accident and has made great strides in his recovery. Despite being told that he had only a 5 percent chance of ever walking again, Lance is able to move around using only a cane. Lance has been able to use this incident to tell others of how God has touched him in his life and served as an example and witness for God.
His accident and recovery has been documented via his website. To login the patient name is 'Williams' and the password is 'wave-curtain'. If you feel led to make a donation to aid in Lance's recovery, then it can be done via this website as well.
Lance has been an inspiration to us here. We are all the better because Lance has crossed out path. CARRY ON SOLDIER!!!
